The Learning Experience – 10/17/2017

Grace

“But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’ “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’“But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry. – Luke 15: 17-24

Did you know that God will use an unfortunate situation in which the devil meant to break you down with…come back {God} and turn it around to bless you or to touch the lives of others just so he (God) can get the Glory; and so you can not only be blessed by it, but also be taught and learn something from it. Pain and suffering is meant to be temporary. It’s how you look at it and handle it, that determines the outcome. Based on my very own personal experience, I have learned that many times I have been a factor of the outcome of my own situations. Its not always “the adversary” or other people and thing; sometimes it’s self. Take it from me when I tell you that the hardest lesson to learn and the worst of trials, is the one you have to repeat over and over because you kept failing it all before, as well as forgetting WHO was in control! God knows our end before our beginning, but in that we are to positions ourselves accordingly. Everything we need for God to do for us  and within us, is always at hand. Its just that we aren’t always in a place where we can meditate and seek his face, see what he’s trying to show us, or even hear his voice. Why is that? That’s because we tend to get so wrapped up in what’s going on right in front of us that we either forget who’s in control or panic to the point of not even thinking. But when you “come to” and realize just what God is doing is when the confirmation is clear, the reasoning is evident, and you eventually see that it was for your good and that he was only trying to show you who he is.

Just like that prodigal son, I’m a witness, that “When you come TO; HE comes thru!

Enjoy the rest of your day!
